The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Garden Valley, GA. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Hill was born July 1, 1939 in Oglethorpe, GA to the late Arthur Hill and Edna Hartley Hill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ernie Hill and his sister, Paula Colter.
Mrs. Hill was born May 27, 1951 to the late Robert Lewis Hill and Betty Louise Wilson Hill. Mr. and Mrs. Hill were both members of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Hill are survived by their children Kim (Martha) Hill of Garden Valley, GA and Adam Hill of Barnesville, GA and a grandson, Alex Thomas Hill of Garden Valley, GA. In addition, Mr. Hill leaves behind two brothers, Arthur "Buddy" Hill of Butler, GA and Howard Hill of Oglethorpe, GA, and a sister, Shirley (Bill) Moye of Macon, GA. Mrs. Hill is also survived by a sister, Mary J. Griffith of Garden Valley, GA.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Larry Layfield, 2061 Butler Mill Rd., Reynolds, GA 31076.
