Marzelle Price Peaster

She was born March 30, 1935 in Dooly County to the late Ralph Sanford Price and Jennie Fowler Price.She was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Marzelle enjoyed cooking for her loved ones and was also a big Braves fan.She was a member of Christian Heritage Worship Center.
Services will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Watson-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott McMillan officiating. Her brother, Rev. Ralph Price will officiate at the graveside service. Burial will follow at Bertha Dozier Memorial Park.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Her memories will forever be treasured by her children: James Leonard Peaster, Jr. (Tammy) of Perry, Georgia and Pansy Parks (Paul) of Perry, Georgia; four siblings: Ralph Price, Jr., (Viola) of Montezuma, Georgia, Christine Beamon (Jack) of Smithville, Georgia, Burl Price (Val) of Columbus, Georgia and Mike Price (Pam) of Montezuma, Georgia; six grandchildren: Jennifer Guest (Logan), Kirk Peaster (Brandi), Zach Peaster, Luke Parks, Kinsley Parks and Matthew Peaster. Also surviving are three great-grandchildren: Karli Peaster, Kamland Peaster, Keaton Peaster as well as many nieces and nephews.
Along with parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Peaster, Sr. and six siblings: Janelle Payne, Ernest Price, Billy Price, Elsie Chambley, Cleo Price and Adelle Crook.
