OGLETHORPE, GA - Mary Louise Williams, 90, of Oglethorpe, GA, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011.

Visitation will be Monday, March 14, 2011, at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home from 6 - 8 PM. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at 2 PM at Mt. Zion-St. Luke Lutheran Church in Oglethorpe, GA. Pastor Harry E. Tedrow and Rev. Phillip Streetman will officiate.Burial will follow in Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Williams was born March 7, 1921 in Oglethorpe to the late George E. Lemmond and Claudia Streetman Lemmond.She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen C. Williams and her sister, Georgia Lewis Josey.She was a wonderful cook who loved to entertain family and friends as well as loving to crochet and work in her yard.She owned and operated Country Store BBQ for many years and was widely known for her barbeque and brunswick stew. She managed the Macon County High School lunchroom for many years.

Survivors include 4 daughters, Dolores (Harold) Phillips of Ellaville, GA, Evonne Powell of Birmingham, AL, Barbara (Jack) Miner of Eugene, OR and Cynthia (Jimmy) Ledford of Cobb, GA.She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren and 2 nephews.

Flowers will be accepted.
