MONTEZUMA, GA - Mrs. Mary Yoder Weaver, age 80 of Montezuma, GA passed away Wednesday morning, December 22, 2010 at her residence.
Visitation was from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm, Thursday, Dec. 23 at the Montezuma Mennonite Church Fellowship Hall.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm, Friday, Dec. 24 at Montezuma Mennonite Church with Ministers Donnie Swartzentruber and Irvin Yoder officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mary was born on September 9, 1930 in Princess Anne, Virginia to the late Rudy Yoder and Lydia Yoder. She was a homemaker and faithful member of Montezuma Mennonite Church.
Survivors include her five sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Linda Weaver of Montezuma, GA, Raymond and Ruth Weaver of Montezuma, GA, Victor and Cathy Weaver of Andersonville, GA, Joe and Fern Weaver of Blackville, SC, Irvin, Jr. and Laverda Weaver of Blackville, SC; five daughters and sons-in-law, Rachel and Daniel Yoder of Montezuma, GA, Ruth and Simon Yoder of Montezuma, GA, Verda and Leslie Yoder of Montezuma, GA, Linda and Eli Yoder of Cuthbert, GA, Marlene and Merle Diem of Americus, GA; three brothers, Paul Yoder of Safford, Alabama, Eli Yoder of Sebree, KY, William Yoder of Fredericksburg, OH; six sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha and Carl Brenneman of Clayton, IL, Malinda and Raymond Kauffman of Virginia Beach, VA, Naomi and Eli Kauffman of Montezuma, GA, Anna Yoder of Montezuma, GA, Barbara Yoder of Montezuma, GA, Esther Yoder of Montezuma, GA. 50 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren also survive.
Watson-Mathews Funeral Home of Montezuma was in charge of arrangements.
