Mary Mccranie Laidler

December 15, 1922 — March 2, 2009

Mary McCranie Laidler, age 86 of Hawkinsville,Ga entered into eternal peace on Monday, March 2, 2009 at The Oaks Nursing Home in Marshallville, Ga.

Graveside funeral services were held Thursday, March 5, 2009 at 2 P.M. in Swearingen Cemetery in Byromville with Rev. Sidney Jones officiating.

She was born in Dodge County, GA on December 15, 1922. She moved to The Oaks Nursing Home in October of 2006. She was a retired nurse's aide at Pinewood Manor Nursing Home in Hawkinsville. She enjoyed sewing and embroidering. She also enjoyed spending time with her siblings, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, by whom she will be sorely missed. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Albert Laidler.

She is survived by her brother, Dan "Buck" McCranie of Hawkinsville; two sisters, Nadine Lynn of Hawkinsville and Sybil Ford of Perry; two daughters, Joyce Fountain of Ideal and Patti Rolan of Cochran and one son-in-law, Roy T. Fountain of Ideal; four grandchildren, Lisa Zipprian, Kathy Page, Roy C. Fountain, Cameron Kirkpatrick and two great grandchildren, Joshua Inman and Summer Page.
