Mary L. Collins

ELKO, GEORGIA - Mary L. Collins, age 63 of Elko, Georgia passed away peacefully Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon, Georgia.

A viewing and visitation will be from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday ,May 30, 2024 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, Georgia.

Per her request she will be cremated and no service will be held.

Mary was born in Metter, Georgia to the late Addie Linnie Brown Collins and James Estus Collins. Mary enjoyed planting flowers, watching soap operas, dancing and singing.

She is survived by her loving companion, Monty James of Elko, Georgia, two sons, David Allen Bridges (Amelia) of Leesburg, Georgia, Steve Bridges of Americus, Georgia and daughter, Linda Michelle Kitchens (Thad) of Byromville, Georgia; four sisters, Brenda Corbin (Gene Savage) of Butler, Georgia, Joyce James (Jerry Adcock) of Reynold, Georgia, Linda Chandler (Robert) of Byron, Georgia and Lucille Collins of Cordele, Georgia; three brothers, James Collins (Karen) of Vienna, Georgia, Ronnie Collins (Linda) of Unadilla, Georgia and Jimmy Collins (Audrey) of Montezuma, Georgia; 10 grandchildren; Bella Bridges, Ava Lousie, Raelyn Pritchett, Nycholas Easterling (Alexis), Katelyn Michelle Shelley (Lindsay), Austin Bridges, Ayden Carroll, Nathaniel Kitchens (Erica), Thaddeus Kitchens (Tanayia), Michael Kitchens; two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive.

Mary was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Frances Amerson, Bonnie Wainwright and her brother, George Allen Collins.
