Marvin L. Kauffman

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Montezuma Mennonite Church Fellowship Hall.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Montezuma Mennonite Church. Burial will follow at Church Cemetery.
He was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia on November 17, 1940 to the late Levi D. Kauffman and Mary Miller Kauffman.He was a farmer and a member of the Montezuma Mennonite Church.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife,Alta Kauffman of Marshallville, Georgia; four sons:Kenneth (Barbara) Kauffman of Huntsville, Arkansas, Gary (Laura) Kauffman of Thomaston, Georgia, Jason (Melody) Kauffman of Gympie, Queensland, Australia and David (Toni) Kauffman of Sarasota, Florida; one daughter, Donna (Matt) Powers of Marshallville, Georgia; three brothers: Raymond (Malinda) Kauffman of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Richard Kauffman of Atlanta, Georgia and Larry (Linda) Kauffman of Montezuma, Georgia; five sisters: Ruth (S. Melvin) Yoder of Augusta, Georgia, Martha Kauffman of Augusta, Georgia, Drusilla Beiler of Tryon, North Carolina, Mary Lois (Robert) Yoder of Jesup, Georgia, Susan (Alva) Yoder of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Also surviving are twenty-three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Jim Kauffman; one brother, Eli Kauffman; and two sisters, Rhoda Yoder and Laura Yoder.
