Martha Jeanette Park, age 89, of Byromville, GA passed away Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008, at Appling Medical Center in Baxley, GA.
Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, Dec. 19, at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, at the Byromville Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Oliver Cemetery.
She was born on November 14, 1919 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Michael L. Smith and Lillian Annie Hoffman Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of Byromville Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ebb Russell Park; one daughter, Carolyn A. Hendrix; three sisters, Eleta Rogers, Kathleen Myers and Mary Maxine Smith; four brothers, Horace Smith, Lee Smith, Mac Smith and Charles Smith.
Survivors include her two daughters, Madeline Butler of Baxley, GA and Charlotte Garen of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; two brothers, Robert Smith and David Smith both of Jacksonville, FL and seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
