Marlin "Round Man" Yoder

Mr. Marlin "Round Man" Yoder, 67, of Montezuma, Georgia passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Atrium Health Navicent Hospice Pine Pointe in Macon, Georgia.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Montezuma Mennonite Church, 2307 Whitehouse Road, Montezuma, Georgia. Visitation will be at the church Friday, April 8, 2022 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Burial will follow at the Gospel Light Mennonite Cemetery, 11192 Highway 224, Montezuma, Georgia.

If anyone wants to visit the family, they will be at Glen and Darlene’s residence, 321 Levie Road, Montezuma, Georgia.

Round Man enjoyed being with people, and loved serving others, therefore, working at Troy’s Snack Shack for twenty plus years, he was able to practice his love of serving. He made lots of friends and served everyone with a smile.  He loved his employer and highly respected him.  Thank you, Tony!

His memory will forever be treasured by five brothers; Stanley Yoder and wife, Pauline, Melvin Paul and wife, Irene, Round Man’s twin brother, Mark and wife Esther, Dale, Wesley and wife, Laura, a sister, Darlene and husband, Glen Yoder, all of Montezuma, Georgia.  He also leaves behind a sister-in-law, Sandra Yoder of Bittinger, Maryland, thirty nieces and nephews, forty-one great-nieces and nephews.  He will be missed by all that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Yoder and Sara Brenneman Yoder, four brothers, Ivan Ray, David and two stillborn, one sister, Leila Fern Yoder, a niece, Kimberly, and a nephew, Darren.
