ANDERSONVILLE, GA - Maria De La Luz Canales, age 60, of Andersonville, GA, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Emory University Hospital in Decatur, GA.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 14, 2018 in the Chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home with Pastor Senobio Pena` officiating the service. Burial will follow at a later date in Panteon Santo Cristo in Piedras Negras, COAH Mexico.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until the service time on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Canales was born on February 22, 1958 in Monclova Coahuila, Mexico to the late Arnulfo Villalobos and Josefina Gonzalez Villalobos. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include her loving husband, Jesus Canales Delgado of Andersonville, GA; four children, Jesus Canales, Jr. (Merrium Jade) of Andersonville, GA, Carolina Canales of Andersonville, GA, Josue Canales of Montezuma, GA and Christian Canales (Ruby) of Lilly, GA; sister, Lorena De Luna (Roberto) of Eagle Pass, Texas; two brothers, Arnulfo Villalobos (Maria Rosa) of Mexico and Sergio Villalobos (Nancy) of Mexico; five grandchildren, Destiny Canales, Xiaoli Canales, Izabel Canales, Christian Joaquin Canales and Natalie Smith; many nieces, nephews and host of other family members also survive.

Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, GA has been entrusted with funeral arrangements for Mrs. Maria De La Luz Canales.
