Margie Elouise Wiggins Fagan, 86, of Blythe Island, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023, 2:00pm, at Chapman Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jay Thornton officiating.  Burial will follow in Palmetto Cemetery.  A visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, December 26, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, at the funeral home. Ryan Fagan, Matthew Marshall, Anthony Visconti, Daniel Thomas, Hunter Douglas, and Carson Hope will be serving as active pallbearers. Paul Mulling III, Benjamin Walker, Jeffrey Terrell, and her brothers Rodney, Wilbert, Johnnie, and Darryl will be serving as honorary pallbearers.

Elouise was born April 11, 1937, in Odum, GA, as 1 of 13 children to Cullen Paul Wiggins and Verdie Scott Wiggins.  She had lived most of her life in Glynn County, attending Wayne County & Glynn County Schools, and graduating with the Class of 1955 at Glynn Academy.  Elouise was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and was the office secretary of Arco Kindergarten and later Ballard Elementary.  She was a very much loved Grannie and G.G., an excellent seamstress, gardener, and enjoyed traveling with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Donna Marie Fagan Marshall of Blythe Island, Patricia Gale Fagan Walker (Benjamin) of Jasper, GA, Julie Ann Fagan Terrell (Jeffrey) of Reynolds, GA, brothers, Rodney Wiggins, Wilbert Wiggins (Sandra), Johnnie Wiggins (Lucy), Darryl (Elaine), sisters, Norma Bunkley (Clayton), Delores English, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Richard Fagan, sons, Charles Stanley Fagan, Daniel Richard Fagan, and brothers, Theron Wiggins, Monroe Wiggins, Carl Wiggins, David Wiggins, and Billy Wiggins, and a sister, Pauline Purvis.
