Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, Georgia. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will immediately follow at Cedar Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Margaret was of Pentecostal faith and a lifelong resident of Macon County. She was born April 1, 1939 in Pinehurst, Georgia to the late William Lloyd Altman and Estelle Burch Altman.She was preceded in death by three children, Brian Keith Rogers, William David Rogers and Karen Ann Rogers as well as three siblings; Myrle Farmer, Pauline Horne, and William Claude Altman.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Freddie Rogers, and her three children; Freddie Joe Rogers of Andersonville, GA,Randy D. Rogers of Montezuma, GA and Sharon "Sally" J. Bohannen of Andersonville, GA; one sister, Joyce Altman of Cordele, Georgia. Mrs. Margaret also leaves behind eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
