Marcy Tarrer Massey

A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be at 2PM, Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Ideal Baptist Church in Ideal, GA with Rev. Sidney Clay and Rev. Clarence Keene officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until the funeral hour at the church.
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE will be held at 1 PM, Friday, May 20, 2011 at Greenwood Baptist Church, 3400 Gray Highway in Macon, GA.
Marcy was born on July 21, 1971 in Montezuma, GA to Ronald Tarrer and Virginia Bodiford Tarrer. She was a graduate of Middle Georgia School of Dental Assisting and worked as a secretary in the real estate business. She was a member of Ideal Baptist Church and was excited about being a grand-mommy.
She is survived by her loving family, her father and mother, Ronald and Virginia Tarrer of Oglethorpe, GA; two daughters, Cassie Massey of Juliette, GA, Mallory Massey of Macon, GA and one grandson on the way; sister and brother-in-law, Evonne and Ben Bartlett of Perry, GA; paternal grandmother, Ada Tarrer Carpenter of Ideal, GA; Cassie's grandparents, Buddy and Mary Griggers of McDonough, GA; niece and nephew, Benjaman and Rachel Bartlett of Perry, GA; several aunts and uncles, Tony and Linda Tarrer of Ideal, GA, Aliga Tarrer of Mableton, GA, Johnny and Dorothy Bodiford of Garden Valley, GA, Connie Cannon of Oglethorpe, GA and a very close friend, Troy Exum survives and a host of cousins and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, J.W. Tarrer, maternal grandparents, Archie and Myrtle Bodiford and an uncle, David Tarrer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Joy Gunnoe Elrod account at BB&T Bank in Montezuma.
