Maggie Cromer

Montezuma, Ga- Maggie Cromer, 93, of Montezuma, Ga, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 28th, 2024.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 30th, 2024 from 6-8 pm at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, Ga.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 31st, 2024 at 1pm at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home. Rodney Chappell will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens in Oglethorpe, Ga.

Mrs. Maggie was born on October 2, 1930 to the late Richard and Evelyn Wilson. She enjoyed being a seamstress. Mrs. Maggie loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. She had a love for life. She was a member of Christian Heritage Worship Center, Oglethorpe, Ga.

Mrs. Maggie is survived by her two daughters, Rozell Hodge (Mike), from Cochran, Ga. and Cathy Mygrant of Montezuma, Ga. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kim Ward (Dan), Rodney Cromer, Lisa Oliver, Michelle Cromer (Allen), DuWayne Woodard, and Linda Cromer as well as 12 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, L.W. Cromer; son, Jimmy Cromer; two grandchildren, Michael Hodge and Sonja Hodge; and one great-grand child Robin Cromer.

Pallbearers include Trenton Traywick, Troy Yarborough, Tracy Cromer, Tyler Cromer, Johnathan Cromer and Landon Cromer as well as Preston Hodge as honorary Pallbearers.
