Lynda Charlene Oliver

Mrs. Lynda Charlene Oliver, age 76, of Oglethorpe, Georgia went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 7, 2022.

Visitation will be held at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens with Bro. Gene Simmons officiating the service.

Born December 22, 1945, she was the daughter of the late John Audrey Garrison and Virginia Lee Glascock Garrison.  She and her husband owned Macon County Satellite & T.V. where she was Office Manager for many years. She was a member of Whitewater Baptist Church in Oglethorpe, Georgia.

Survivors include her son, John T. Oliver, and his wife, Mary of Oglethorpe, Georgia; two granddaughters; Jessica Oliver Kersey and husband Ethan, and Katherine Elizabeth Oliver; step-grandson, Brian Williams of Oglethorpe, Georgia and three great-grandchildren: Haley Kersey, Sophia Kersey, and Daniel Williams.

She is predeceased by her loving husband, Lonnie Oliver, and a son, Carl Lee Oliver.
