IDEAL, GA - Mr. Lowell Fredrick "Fred" Fowler, 80, of Ideal, Georgia, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Macon Medical Navicent Health.
Mr. Fowler was born December 10, 1938 in Rupert, Georgia to the late William Graham Fowler and Thelma Albritton Fowler.A proud veteran, he served his country in the United States Army.He was employed as an auto collision mechanic with Owens Body Shop in Montezuma and also served as church treasurer at Little Bethel Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, December 31, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Little Bethel Free Will Baptist Church in Ideal, Georgia with Rev. Randy Harris officiating.
Family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Burial will follow at Little Bethel Cemetery.A reception will be held in the fellowship hall immediately following the service.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving spouse, Sarah Fowler of Ideal; two children: Donna Lynn Moore (Al) of Prattville, Alabama; Lance Fowler (Tanya) of Middleburg, Florida; three step-children:Warren Bartlett (Laurie) of Ellaville, Georgia, Dusty Aldridge (Joe) of Ellaville, Georgia and Adam Bartlett (Kimberly) also of Ellaville, Georgia; five siblings: Gene Fowler (Alberta) of Camilla, Georgia, Tom Fowler (Velma) of Rupert, Georgia, David Fowler (Jean) of Rupert, Georgia, Laverne Bentley (Mack) of Ideal, Georgia, George Fowler (Diane) of Andersonville, Georgia and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Simmons (Larry).He also leaves behind thirteen grand-children, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Fowler.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in memory of Mr. Fowler to Little Bethel Free Will Baptist Church, 1180 Little Bethel Rd., Ideal, Georgia 31041.
