IDEAL, GA - Mrs. Lillian Bartlett Day, 77, of Ideal, GA passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Stillwater Chapel with Revs. Roy & Jennie Peterson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Graveside services will be private.
Mrs. Day was born September 19, 1936 to the late Horace Bartlett and Ruby Adams Bartlett. She was employed and retired as a seamstress by The Tog Shop in Americus. Mrs. Day was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Day is survived by her husband, Lennard Day of Ideal, GA; three children, Earl (Laura) Gentry of Markleville, IN, Brenda (Andy) Law of Oglethorpe, GA, and Julie Day Collins of Oglethorpe, GA; three brothers, Billy (Evie) Bartlett of Montezuma, GA, Jimmy (Liz) Bartlett of Pitts, GA, and Johnny (Donna) Bartlett of Oglethorpe, GA. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Tonya Gentry, Jeremy Gentry, Jessica Gentry, Hannah Law, Jamie Law, and Casey Day; and numerous great-grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive.
