Leroy Williamson

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Watson- Mathews Funeral Home. Graveside services will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. atMarshallville City Cemetery with Reverend Charles Carter officiating.
Mr. Leroywas born on April 14, 1927 in Perry, Georgia. Mr. Leroy was a supervisor at Kellwood Manufacturing in Perry, Georgia for over twenty-nine years.He was also a WWII Army Veteran and enjoyed gardening and fishing in his leisure time.
He is survivedby his two sons:Leroy "Buddy" (Peggy) Williamson of Hahira, GA and Michael "Maynard" (Joan) Williamson of Perry, GA.;three grandchildren;Megan Williamson of Jacksonville, FL, Lindsey (Jordan) Kersey of Perry, GA and Justin (Nikki) Williamson of Greenville, SC. ;three great-grandchildren; Dallas Kersey,Sawyer Kate Kersey and Maddie Williamson and one brother, Jack Williamson of Bryon, GA.Preceded in death by Mr. Leroy was his loving wife,Betty Jean Williamson; five siblings; Johnny Williamson,Edgar Williamson, Julia Rigsby, Nanny Ruth Dean and Horace Williamson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice in Perry, Georgia.
