Leonard Austin Loftin

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in Watson-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel.Visitation will be at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home one hour prior to the service. Burial with military honors will immediately follow at Bertha Dozier Memorial Park in Montezuma, GA.
Mr. Loftin was born on July 30, 1941 in Evans, LA to the late Elmer Loftin and Alene Young Loftin.For many years, Mr. Loftin worked as a maintenance technician for Allens, Inc. in Montezuma, GA. Mr. Loftin was also a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Mr. Loftin was survived by his loving wife, Patricia Loftin of Forsyth, GA; eight children: Cameron Jacob McLendon of Forsyth, GA, Leonard Austin Loftin, Jr (Michelle) of Jacksonville, AR, Molly Loftin Lawrence (Jesse) of Millen, LA, Larry Pritchard, Jr. (Rebecca – Fiance') of Stockbridge, GA, Patricia Dawn McLendon of Dublin, GA, William Loftin of Millen, LA, Ernest Charles Pritchard (Doris) of McRae, GA, andHomer Loftin (Lisa) of Houston, TX.; one brother: Joe Loftin of Oklahoma City, OK.; fifteen grandchildren: Matthew Pritchard (Sarah), Ashley McLendon (Jake), Savannah McLendon, Joshua McLendon, Alexis McLendon, Austin Pritchard, Holly Haymon, Jeananda Fee, Reese Lawrence, Seth Loftin, Casey Loftin, Garth Loftin, Devin Loftin, Bethany Brooks, D. J. Abrams and ten great-grandchildren: Adrian Fee, Chevy Haymon, Eden Haymon, Colton Haymon, Calum Laurence, Harlan Laurence, Sailor Laurence, Braylon Hilbun, Hunter Pritchard, David Plumley and family friends: John Thomas and James Prosser. He was preceded in death by two sisters; Ramona Jean and Virginia Foster Hart.
