Visitation will be held from 6 PM to 8 PM, Tuesday, Sept 10th in the Fellowship Hall of the Montezuma Mennonite Church.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, September 11th at the Montezuma Mennonite Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Lela M. Brenneman was born on March 4, 1947 to Mark and Vernie Yoder Brenneman in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She dedicated her life to Christ in her youth and was a faithful member of the Montezuma Mennonite Church, where she taught in the church school for 40 years.
She was also preceded in death by her step-mother, Elsie Yoder Brenneman; two brothers, Philip Brenneman, Henry Brenneman and a sister-in-law, Bertha Yoder Brenneman.
Survivors include her eight siblings: Mrs. Philp (Miriam) Brennemanof Millersburg, OH, Mrs. Henry (Vera) Brennemanof Aroda, VA, Raymond Brenneman of Montezuma, GA, Alvin Carl Brenneman (Emma) of Catlett, VA, Mark Edward (Loretta )Brenneman of Montezuma, GA, Leon Brenneman of Montezuma, GA, Lowell Brenneman (JoAnn) of Falkville, AL, Ellen Ruth Brenneman of Danville, AL.Also surviving are sixteen nieces and twelve nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mark & Vernie Brenneman, two brothers: Philip and Henry Brenneman; step-mother, Elsie (Yoder) Brenneman and one sister-in-law, Bertha (Yoder) Brenneman.
