Lauretta Broome

March 12, 1939 — August 3, 2012

UNADILLA, GA - Lauretta Irene Fetterly Broome, age 73 of Unadilla, passed into the Lord's arms on August 3, 2012 at The Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon. A private memorial service will be held by the family.

Mrs. Broome was born March 12, 1939 in Phoenix, Arizona to the late Leon Atwell Fetterly and Stella Irene Fetterly. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Broome was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Madison Broome and her brother, Larry L. Fetterly.

Mrs. Broome is survived by four daughters, Eva (Steve) Toyama of California; Tina Quimby of Auburn, Alabama; Tracy (Jackie) Johnson of Byromville, Georgia; Lori (Goober) Godfrey of Unadilla, Georgia; two sons, Ronnie Broome and Larry (Rita) Broome, all of Orlando, Florida. She is also survived by her sister, Karon Haugstad of Washington state and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma is in charge of cremation arrangements.
