Barnesville, GA - Kris Coogle Adkins, age 49 of Barnesville, GA passed away Monday, October 18, 2010 in Atlanta, GA.

Visitation was held Friday, Oct. 22 from 6 - 9 PM at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma.

Funeral services were 11 AM, Saturday, Oct. 23 at Mt. Zion-St. Luke Lutheran Church in Oglethorpe with Pastor Harry E. Tedrow officiating. A receptionfollowed in the church social hall.

Graveside services were held at 2:30 PM at Lamar Memory Gardens in Barnesville.

Kris was born in Montezuma, GA to the late, Roy Morgan Coogle and Doris Cheek Coogle.She worked for the United Auto Workers as a Wemr and for the International Brotherhood of the Electrical Workers as an electrician. She was a member of Mt. Zion-St. Luke Lutheran Church and enjoyed gardening in her spare time and was an avid animal lover.

She is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Georgia Equine Rescue League, Barnesville-Lamar County Humane Society or the American Diabetes Association.
