Kim's commitment to the Lord in her youth and her loving, caring heart for others led her to a term of service at Hillcrest Home, where she met Quentin Lynn Miller. They were married on March 29, 2003. They enjoyed the 15 years of marriage God blessed them with. God led them to New Horizons Ministries in Colorado where they served for 6 ½ years. Soon after arriving there, God placed into their care a precious 2 day old baby girl named Zamaria Ny'rea. They adopted her when she was 6 years old. Their lives were enriched as they served with selfless devotion, impacting young children, their mothers and others around them. Serving others was a very important part of Kim's life wherever God placed her and her family. Kim fought cancer courageously for five years. Quentin lovingly and faithfully cared for Kim during her illness. Even during this time in her life, Kim's love for God was evident by her service to others in need. Family was always very important to Kim and many happy memories were made, especially, after they made their move to Georgia in February of 2016.
Kim will be sorely missed by many, but especially by her, husband Quentin, and daughter Zamaria of Montezuma, Ga. Other survivors include her parents, Mark and Esther Yoder of Montezuma, Ga; her brothers, Stanley and wife Jovonn, Wesley and Wife Abby, & Bradley Yoder all of Montezuma, Ga; mother-in-law: Ruth Miller of Millersburg, OH; nieces: Janetta, Vanita and Madalyn; nephews, Ryland, Carson and Bradlyn.
