Kelly Bernard Mcclendon

Kelly Bernard McClendon, passed away on December 26, 2023 in Atlanta, Georgia at the age of 48. Kelly was born on April 29, 1975 in Americus, Georgia.

Kelly was educated in the Macon Couny School System and was a 1996 graduate of Macon County High School and played on the Macon County High School Track Team. Kelly worked with First Solar Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. McClendon will be held Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 1:30 PM in the Chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home. Pastor Jeffery “Butch” Canady will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Montezuma, Georgia.

Survivors include two daughters, Keona Clark of Atlanta, Georgia and Angelica Baldwin of Macon, Georgia; father, Kenneth Moore of Montezuma, Georgia; companion, Kimberly Allen of Atlanta, Georgia; six siblings, Jimmie Lee Akine Jr. (Tiffany) of Fort Valley, Georgia; Herbert James McClendon (Patricia) of Montezuma, Georgia; Montana Moore of Atlanta, Georgia, Adam Moore of Atlanta, Georgia, Clifton Moore of Tifton, Georgia and Taurus Hubbard of Florida; Aunt, Mary Lee Stewart of Montezuma, GA; and host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Kelly is preceded in death by his mother, Osia Mae McClendon; and his grandparents, Carbon McLendon and Cathlene Jordan McClendon.
