MONTEZUMA, GA - Mrs. Kaye Butler McDonald, age 68, of Montezuma, GA, passed away Friday, April 17, 2015 at her home. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow in the Chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with Rev. LaMon Brown officiating.
Mrs. McDonald was born September 13, 1946 to the late Ivey Butler and Voncile Satterfield Butler Ransom. She worked as an insurance agent with The Baldwin Agency for many years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Anne Kiff, and a brother, Kenny Butler.
Mrs. McDonald is survived by her husband, Rex McDonald of Montezuma, GA, a son, Jack Kiff, Jr. of Montezuma, GA, a brother, Steve (Denise) Ransom of Montezuma, GA and four grandchildren: Kolbee Taylor of Oglethorpe, GA, Kaeden Brown of Ellaville, GA, Sydney Kiff of Ellaville, GA, and Jackson Kiff of Ellaville, GA. She also leaves behind a great-grandaughter, Kaysen Petroski of Oglethorpe, GA, a special friend, Virginia Tarrer of Oglethorpe, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
