Katie Weaver Yoder, age 79, wife of Floyd E. Yoder of Montezuma, GA, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, November 2, 2011.
Funeral services will be held at the Montezuma Mennonite Church at 10 A.M., Friday, Nov. 4, 2011. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:30 to 8:30 PM at the Montezuma Mennonite Church Fellowship Hall on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd E. Yoder of Montezuma, GA; eight children, Marvin (Miriam) Yoder of Belvadere, TN, Louis (Kathy) Yoder of Montezuma, GA, Larry (Emily) Yoder of Montezuma, GA, Sara (Clarence) Yoder of Mayfield, KY, Mary Catherine (Lewis) Plank of Montezuma, GA, Brenda (Nelson) Yoder of Montezuma, GA, Barbara Jean (Ernest) Swartzentruber of Montezuma, GA, Loretta (Steve) Esh of Montezuma, GA; one sister, Barbara (Elvin) Yoder of Faulkville, AL; three brothers, Noah (Fannie) Weaver of Carrollton, GA, Eli (Irene) Weaver of Summersville, KY and Mahlon (Vernie) Weaver of Montezuma, GA; 55 grandchildren and 46 great grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Ruby (Elmer) Swartzentruber and one granddaughter, and two brothers and three sisters.
Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma is in charge of arrangements.
