Jonathan Shawn Woodruff

JACKSON, GA - Jonathan Shawn Woodruff, 46, of Jackson, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Marshallville City Cemetery with Pastor Chet Cooper officiating the service.

Shawn was born on July 4, 1977 in Fort Valley, Georgia. Shawn worked as a journeyman lineman for IBEW and was a member of Turning Point Church in McDonough, Georgia. Shawn enjoyed being with his loved ones, visiting the ocean, fishing, grilling, and brewing the perfect pot of coffee.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Kim Woodruff, granddaddy, Danny Woodruff, maternal grandparents, Theron and Ella Sealock and his step-father, Donald Chapman.

Shawn is survived by his wife, Laura Justice Woodruff of Jackson, Georgia; mother, Jo Ann Sealock Chapman of Jackson, Georgia; grandmother, Bobbie Woodruff Williams of Fort Valley, Georgia; two sons, Xander Woodruff of Milford, Pennsylvania and Jackson Woodruff of Marine Corps, California; step-son, Noah Wesley Andrews of Jackson, Georgia and a step-daughter, Madison Taylor Love of Jackson, Georgia; brother, David Wayne Sealock Chapman and wife Caitlin of Barnesville, Georgia; two step-sisters, Jennifer Fazio of Toms River, New Jersey and  Julia Kane of McDonough, Georgia and a loving nephew, Theron Chapman of Barnesville, Georgia.
