Johnny Massey

Johnny Lee Massey, age 71, of Enigma, Georgia passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024.  The funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at 2pm at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 1pm until service time at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home.

Mr. Massey was born on October 20, 1953 in Montezuma, Georgia to the late George W. Massey and Hilda Spradley Massey. Mr. Massey drove a semi for several different trucking companies. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Sylvester, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, George Massey Sr. and his mother, Hilda Massey and two brothers, George Massey, Jr. and Thomas Massey.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Massey of Enigma; brother, Larry Massey of Montezuma; five boys, Lee Massey (Amanda) of Tifton, Jacob Massey (Holly) of Monroe, Micah Massey (Tara) of Linden, Iowa, Denver Massey and Lawson Massey both of Linden, Iowa; two stepsons, Anthony Rogers (Gail) of Richmond Hill and Eric Rogers (Kalen) of Panama City, Florida; twelve step grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
