Johnnie Ruth Brannen

Ms. Johnnie Ruth Brannen, age 66, of Oglethorpe, Ga. passed away on Friday, March 3 ^rd , 2023 at her residence.

She was born on December 2, 1956 to the late Walter Payne and Annie Ruth Poole in Fitzgerald, Ga. Ms. Brannen enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed trips to the beach.

She was a loving mother to her five children, Walter Ray “Yogi” of Vienna, Ga., Johnathan O`Barr “Bo” of Axon, Ga., Justin Greer “Pete” of Vienna, Ga., Marcus Brannen (Kayla) of Albany, Ga. and Samantha Brannen of Oglethorpe, Ga. along with 16 grandchildren. She also had two nieces, Jennifer Respert, Tracie Respert and one nephew, Jason Respert.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday March 5 ^th , 2023 at the Chapel of Watson- Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, Ga at 2 p.m. Pastor Norman Taylor will be officiating the service.
