BUTLER, GA - Mr. John Edward Wheeler, age 72, of Butler, Georgia passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Medical Center Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia

He was born in Unadilla, Georgia on May 23, 1947 to the late William Grady Wheeler and Ruby Womack Wheeler.He was employed with David Clemmons Farm in Unadilla, Georgia.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

His memory will forever be treasured by his four children: Danny Ray Wheeler (Stacey) of Augusta, Georgia, Bryant Wheeler of Byron, Georgia, Amy Wainwright (Kenneth) of Butler, Georgia and Melena Patrick of Daytona, Florida; eight grandchildren: Nicole Phillip (Nicholas),Bethany Wainwright, Nicholas Wheeler, Hunter Massey, Courtney Massey, Preston Wheeler (Yesenia), Tristan Wheeler and Katie Sheffield.Ten great-grandchildren: Abel, Kaden, Scarlett, Aiden, Carleigh, Jaxson, Justin, Jason, Lala, Jeremy and Jude, along with a host of other family members and friends.He was preceded in death four siblings: Clint Wheeler, Jane DeLoach, Barbara Woodruff and Lois Holloway.

Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, GA has been entrusted with arrangements for Mr. John Edward Wheeler.
