BYROMVILLE, GA - John Wesley Murray, age 57 of Byromville, GA passed away, Tuesday afternoon, January 25, 2011 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, GA.

Visitation was from 6 to 8 pm, Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held at 11 am, Friday, Jan. 28 at Byromville Baptist Church. Burial followed in Swearingen Cemetery in Byromville. Rev. Dennis Phillips and Rev. Andy Blankenship officiated.

John was born on April 30, 1953 in Vienna, GA to the late James Arthur Murray, Sr. and Ruby Jeanette Morgan Murray. He was a self-employed carpenter and enjoyed woodworking in his shop.
