A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens, 609 West Chatham Street, Oglethorpe, Georgia. Rev. Randy Harris will officiate the service.
A reception will immediately follow the service at Little Bethel Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 1180 Little Bethel Road, Ideal, Georgia.
Mr. Law was born on May 5, 1953 in Montezuma, Georgia to the late Minor Law and Lora Dell Jones Law. He was employed with West Logging in Ellaville, Georgia as a machine operator for many years.In his spare time, he enjoyed going fishing.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Maxine Barfield Law, and one brother, Everett Law.
He is survived by his children: John Kevin Law (Tammi) of Montezuma, Georgia anddaughter, Cheryl Avery of Haughton, Louisiana; five brothers: Bennie Earl Law and lifelong girlfriend, Donna of Punta Gorda, Florida, Billy Law (Jean) of Oglethorpe, Georgia, Jimmy Law (Theresa) of Memphis, Tennessee, Andy Law (Brenda) of Oglethorpe, Georgia, and Tommy Law (Laurie) of Ellaville, Georgia; two sisters: Mary Lou Conklin (Doug) of Covington, Georgia and Mary Ann McDaniel (Johnny) of Tifton, Georgia.Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Richard Bishop, Kayla Wright and boyfriend, Edwin Ardon, J.B. Law, Chloee Law, Kinsley Wright, Emilee Law, Mary Kathryn Wright, Wayne Layfield and Cassie Barfield and two great grandchildren, Jayden Bishop and Miliana Ardon.
