Visitation will be held Friday February 22nd from 6 PM – 8 PM at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, GA. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 23rd at 2 PM at the Montezuma United Methodist Church. He will be laid to rest at Bertha Dozier Memorial Park Cemetery in Montezuma next to his parents and brother.
He had a passion for working in agriculture and with the farming community.He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan and an active member of Saint Paul United Methodist Church for many years.He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping in the mountains of North Carolina.
He is survived by his brother Eian Lisle "Rooster" Fowler Jr., his sister Wanda Fowler Fletcher, wife Leita Moore Fowler, his children Karan (Bill) Davis, Donna (Ryan) Stevens, and John Tyrone (Jennifer) Fowler Jr. and his grandchildren Christian Fowler, Catherine Fowler, Leita McLaurin Fowler, John Tyrone Fowler III, Eian Fowler, Marie Davis Morris, and Audrey Davis.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother William Thomas Fowler.
