John Olen Carroll

Mr. John Olen Carroll, age 81 of Dooling, Ga. passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele, Ga. Mr. Carroll is preceded in death by his parents, Mayme L. Carroll and Willis E. Carroll along with his four brothers, his twin brother Joel Carroll, Ronnie Carroll, Jean Carroll and Garland Carroll along with one sister, Bobby Lou Carroll. Mr. Carroll was the last survivor of his immediate family.

He is survived by his cousins, Wayne Carr of Warner Robins Ga., Chester Bellen of Griffin, Ga., David Carroll of Montezuma Ga., Henry Bellen of Vienna, Ga and one sister-in-law, Sharron Carroll of Texas.

Mr. Carroll was a lifelong volunteer firefighter at the Byromville Fire Department. He worked for many years at Haze Axel in Montezuma, Ga. He was a member of Dooling Baptist Church.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 16 ^th at 3:00 PM at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Tim Ferguson will be officiating the service.

Mr. Carroll will lie in estate from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, Ga.
