Jim Chambley

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 1, 2012 from 6 to 8 pm at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, September 2, 2012 at 2 pm in the Chapel at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bertha Dozier Memorial Park.
Mr. Chambley was born June 24, 1934 in Ideal, Georgia to the late Leslie Leroy Chambley and Clarence Kent Chambley. He was a member of Palm Vista Church of God; he was a loving husband and father, a race car builder and a John Cena fan. Mr. Chambley was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Chambley's survivors include his wife, Elsie Chambley of Lake Alfred, Fl; two sons, Kent Chambley of Perry, Ga and Glenn Chambley of Clayton, Ga; and a daughter, Karen Lee Chambley Alexander of Lake Alfred, Fl. He also leaves behind a sister, Minnie Pickard of Thomasville, Ga; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
