MONTEZUMA, GA - A beloved wife, mom, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and aunt, Jennifer Leigh Jackson, of Smithville Georgia, left this world unexpectedly, at age 36, on August 3, 2020.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening, August 9 2020 from 6:00 PM Until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 10, 2020 at 11:00 AM, at the First Baptist Church Montezuma.
Jennifer was born in Jackson, Mississippi on March 25, 1984. She was a graduate of Southland Academy 2003 and a graduate of ABAC in Tifton, Georgia. Jennifer was employed by the U.S. Postal Service.
To quote her cousin Sarah Nelson Wells:Jennifer was a beautiful caring soul and was admired by her gentle and calm personality and how she loved to laugh.So many worlds have been shattered in one brief moment and it makes no sense.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved husband, Erik Jackson and her three children: Mason Wells Jackson, Emma Lynn Timmons and Brayden Scott Timmons; two step-children: Garrett Jones Jackson and Thomas Wyers Jackson; parents: Wade and Joy Nelson of Montezuma, GA and Eddie and Robin Bray of Perry, GA; grandmother, Mickey Keene; step-sister, Brittany Albritton and half-sister, Jessica Bray. Also surviving are niece, Oliva Grace Bray; three nephews: Landyn Keene Bray, Joseph Brinson Albritton and Ryan Hunter Albritton; four cousins: Chris Keene (Amber), Natalie Bradley (Edward), Melissa Elsberry (Jerry) and Amanda Campbell (Ryan); her father and mother-in-law; Thomas B. and Mary J. Jackson, sister-in-law, Saron M. Jackson and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by brother, Jason Bray; Grandfathers: Clarence Wells Keene, James R. Bray, J. B. Nelson; and grandmothers: Velma Bray and Betty Nelson.
(Due to COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing practices will be in place and if you're attending the funeral home and church service. Face masks should be worn and no more than 50 percent capacity of building.
