Jennifer Charlotte Barfield

Jennifer Charlotte Barfield, age 75, from Ideal, Georgia, passed away on October 22, 2024. Mrs. Barfield was born to the late Lemuel Sibbet “L.S.” Peterson and Marjorie Ethleen Tarrer Peterson. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 11 am at Ideal City Cemetery in Ideal, Georgia. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service at the cemetery. Pastor Sidney Clay will be officiating the service. Charlotte loved fishing, camping, and taking care of people. She was a member of Ideal Baptist Church in Ideal, Georgia. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Virgil Barfield; three children, Mike James Barfield (Sarelly) of Whitehouse, Tennessee, Chistopher Barfield of Ideal, Georgia, and Tara Barfield Melo (Rene) of Ideal, Georgia; five grandchildren, Andrew Barfield, Jared Barfield, Patrick Barfield, Gianna Barfield, and Liam Barfield; two bonus daughters, Faith Curtis and Mickey Wiggins; four great nieces and nephews, Chase Curtis, Tyler Wright, Katelyn Curtis and Courtney Barrett as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Lemuel Sibbett Peterson and Majorie Ethleen Tarrer Peterson.
