OGLETHORPE, GA - Mr. James Ricky Spivey, age 64, of Oglethorpe, Georgia passed away Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Medical Center Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia.

His wishes were to be cremated and no services will be held.

He was born on March 13, 1955 in Reynolds, Georgia to the late James Kirby Spivey and Betty Pettis Spivey.
Mr. James loved the outdoors and working in his yard.He was a retired mechanic and welder from Middle Georgia Freightliner-Isuzu in Macon, Georgia.

Survivors include his loving wife, Ila Hales Spivey of Oglethorpe, Georgia, three children: Ricky Leon Harris of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Tabitha Michelle Bustamante (Brian) of Warner Robins, Georgia, Lisa Carol Nunez (Jesse) of Wilmington, Delaware; one sister, Deborah Spivey of Columbia, Tennessee.Eight grandchildren: Ricky Leon Hales Jr., (Brittany), Michael Scott Pleasant (Jocelyn), Lauren Aleece Bustamante, Desiree Makayala Bagley, Hannah Aleece Bagley, Eric Kameryn Scott, Gracie Mae Hales, and Ava Svetlana Nunez; two great-grandchildren: Jack Barnwell, Jordan Levi Hales along with a host of other family and friends also survive.
