OGLETHORPE, GA - James Lawrence "Jiggs" Clark, 69, of Oglethorpe, GA, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015 at The Medical Center- Navicent Health in Macon, GA.
The family will receive friends after 2 p.m., Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the home of Richard and Alice Hall, 338 Camp Rd., Oglethorpe, GA.
A graveside service is scheduled for 3 p.m., Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens in Oglethorpe, GA, with Rev. Curtis Kirksey officiating the service.
Mr. Clark was born February 9, 1946 in Ellaville, GA, to the late Lawrence Clark and Edith Bray Clark. He owned and operated Clark Tire Services for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Frankie Clark, Sr.
Mr. Clark is survived by a brother, Russell F. (Judy) Clark of Rupert, GA; two sisters: Elizabeth (A.E.) Harris of Oglethorpe, GA, and Alice (Richard) Hall of Oglethorpe, GA. He also leaves behind twelve nieces and nephews: Sonny Harris of Oglethorpe, GA, Michael Harris of Alaska, David Harris of Ellaville, GA, Shannon (Debi) Harris of Oglethorpe, GA, Ginger (Larry) Schneider of Bonaire, GA, Richard T. (Audra) Hall of Oglethorpe, GA, Ami (Brian) Godfrey of Macon, GA, Christie (Jeff) Derington of Rupert, GA, Michelle Clark of Americus, GA, Brandy Clark of Richland, GA, Frankie (Sarah) Clark, Jr. of Box Springs, GA, and Lawrence (Tori) Clark of Lumpkin, GA. He also leaves behind several great-nieces and great-nephews.
