James "Jimmy" Burchfield

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home, Montezuma, Georgia and Craig Allen will be officiating.
He was born in Montezuma on December 8, 1947 to the late James Bryant Burchfield, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Burchfield.Mr. Jimmy was employed for over 26 years with Easterlin Pecan Company.
Mr. Burchfield is survived by two step-sons and their wives: John and Judy Bell of Andersonville, GA, and Earl and Judy Bell of Montezuma, GA; a step-daughter and her husband, Ann and Conley Beard of Vero Beach, FL.; a brother and sister-in-law, Victor and Katie Burchfield of Midland, GA; and a sister, Mary Carolyn Burchfield of Columbus, GA. Additional survivors include three nieces: Jennifer Nicole Burchfield, Kacie Amanda Giroux (Captain Brian Giroux), Vanessa Catherine Bourff (Paul); three great nieces: Haley Dirkes, Kayden Guthrie, Hazel Giroux; one great-nephew, and Brandon Giroux; nine step-grandchildren, eight step-great-grandchildren and two step- great-great-grandchildren along with a host of other family members and friends. Also surviving are two children: John Bryant Liles and Cindy Liles Exum; and a granddaughter, Hannah Liles.
