James Brad Bodrey

Mr. Bodrey was born July 10, 1962 in Perry, GA. He was an avid hunter and fisherman; and attended church at Christian Heritage Worship Center. He was preceded in death by his father, James B. Bodrey, Sr.
Mr. Bodrey is survived by his loving wife, Sheila Bodrey of Oglethorpe, GA; his mother, Jo Ann (Thomas) Bodrey Brown, of Cairo, GA; two sisters, Margline (Bobby) Thomas of Cairo, GA and Wanda (H.L.) Layfield of Oglethorpe, GA; and four children, Brandy (Matthew) Whitman of Rincon, GA, James "Bubba"(Tammy) Bodrey, III, of Oglethorpe, GA, Tabatha (Scott) Derington of Kathleen, GA, and Makahla Marie Bodrey of Oglethorpe, GA. He also leaves behind eleven grandchildren; Alexis, Valorie, and Calleigh Whitman; Chaz, Ariel, and Jesse Bodrey; Wesley "Bubba," Annie, Courtney, Kelsey, and Luke Derington; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, George and Diane Fowler; a brother-in-law, Jody (Sherry) Hudson of Ellaville, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
The family may be contacted at the residence, 3804 Georgia Highway 49 South, Oglethorpe, GA. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Mr. Bodrey's family.
