James Douglas Abrams

February 6, 1942 — January 3, 2019

ELLAVILLE, GA - Mr. James Douglas Abrams, Jr., 76, of Ellaville, Georgia, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Medical Center Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia.

Mr. James was born in Medford, New Jersey on February 6, 1942 to the late James Douglas Abrams, Sr. and Gertrude Heller Abrams. During his career, he worked as a logger for Souter Pulpwood in Montezuma, Georgia.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Sandra Jean Abrams of Ellaville, Georgia: one daughter, Sandra "Sandy" Lyn Santoro of Ellaville, Georgia; one brother, Joseph Abrams of New Gretna, New Jersey; three sisters: Geneva Crain (Milton) of Leisuretowne, New Jersey, Patty Sullivan Gaskill of Leisuretowne, New Jersey and Katy Rockhill (Larry) of Destin, Florida.One grandchild, Alyssa Strange (Zackary); two great-grandchildren: Lilly Strange and Mason Strange, along with many nieces and nephews also survive.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in memory of Mr. James to your favorite charity.
