MONTEZUMA, GA - Jackie Skipper, 78, of Montezuma, GA passed away Friday, December 26, 2014. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 29, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, GA. Interment will follow in Bertha Dozier Memorial Park.

Mr. Skipper was born September 15, 1936 to the late Ellis Skipper and Jessie Skipper. He was a lifelong resident of Macon County, GA and retired from Blue Bird in Fort Valley, GA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Lewis Skipper and Wiliam Ellis Skipper, Jr.

Mr. Skipper is survived by his wife, Barbara Skipper of Reynolds, GA; son, Wade Skipper of Blackshear, GA, two grandsons: Hunter Skipper and Hoke Skipper; and three sisters: Norma Jean Kusuda of Perry, GA, Louise George of Perry, GA, and Charlene Booker of Perry, GA.
