J. Charles Estes, age 63, of 7015 State Route 26 West, Oglethorpe, GA passed away Tuesday morning, March 24, 2009 at his residence.

As per his wishes, he will be cremated and no services will be held.

He was born on Novemeber 7, 1945 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to John Estes and Alberta Crist Estes.

He served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and he owned and operated, J and C Contractors in Oglethorpe, GA.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Scott Estes of Oglethorpe, GA.
