Idalene Dowling

Idalene Dowling, age 81, of Montezuma, GA passed away Monday, January 18, 2010.

A memorial service was held at 11 AM, Friday, January 22, 2010 in the chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma with Rev. Randy Harris officiating.

Idalene was born on September 6, 1928 in Montezuma, GA to the late William Collier and Ellie Howell Collier. She was a retired LPN and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She also enjoyed gardening and being with her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Jolene (Darrel) King of Cordele, GA; son, Barry (Deborah) Dukes of Montezuma, GA; sister, Lois (Gene) Layfield of Oglethorpe, GA; brother, Ricky Collier of Palatka, FL; 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
