ANDERSONVILLE, GA - Mr. Hugh Frederick Harris, age 50, of Andersonville, GA passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 23, 2021.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Hugh was born on December 22, 1970, in Burlington, NC to Mrs. Carol Salmon Harris and the late Harold F. Harris.

He had a creative mind that allowed him to draw and paint in the most amazing way. He loved his wife, kids, and grandkids more than he knew how to express. Hugh had a heart of gold always willing to help others any way that he could, frequently bringing home anyone that did not have a home of their own so they could have a warm meal and hot shower. Hugh also loved gardening and took pride in his flowers and greenery. He loved watching hummingbirds enjoy his flowers daily. He will always be remembered for his crazy sense of humor, love for music, and willingness to help others. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife Patsy Harris of Andersonville, GA; mother, Carol S. Harris of Elon, NC; two daughters, Carol DenHartog and husband, Eric of Jasper, GA; Christina Torres and husband Macho of Harrison, NY; one son, Hugh Harris and wife Jessika of Warner Robins, GA; two sisters, Mendi Riddle of Powell, OH and Nena Harris of Burlington, NC; five grandchildren, Jadon Torres, Khloe Torres, Taylor Greendale, Ezra DenHartog and Marloe Harris.
