Herbert "Herbie" Wade Law

Herbert "Herbie" Wade Law, age 39, of Kathleen, Georgia passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012 at The Medical Center of Central Georgia.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 6-9 pm at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held at 2 pm, Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Stillwater Chapel in Ideal, Georgia with Rev. Roy Peterson officiating. Following the service, a memorial reception was held at Mr. Law's residence, 315 Live Oak Court, Kathleen, Georgia.

Mr. Law was born August 19, 1972 to the late Minor Everett Law, Jr. and Kathy Moyers Law. He was co-owner of Mid-South Installations and loved fishing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his mother, Kathy Law, of Oglethorpe, Ga; fiancee' Jennifer Harris, of Kathleen, Ga; three sons, Trevor Law of Oglethorpe, Ga; Trenton Law and Tyler Law, both of Kathleen, Ga; a brother, Everett (Stacie) Law of Warner Robins, Ga; and a sister, Tammy Jones of Oglethorpe, Ga. He also leaves behind five uncles, Tommy (Laurie) Law of Ellaville, Ga; Billy (Jean) Law of Oglethorpe, Ga; David (Maxine) Law of Oglethorpe, Ga; Benny Law of Punta Gorda, Fl; Jimmy (Theresa) Law of Millington, Tn; Andy (Brenda) Law of Oglethorpe, Ga; and two aunts, Mary (Douglas) Comklin of Covington, Ga and Mary Ann (Johnny) McDaniel of Tifton, Ga. In addition, Mr. Law is survived by five nephews, Taylor Law, Clay Law, Brandon Childres, Chaz Jones, and Jesse Bodrey; a niece, Ariel Bodrey; and a host of cousins and other family members.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the IU Simon Cancer Center for the Research Fund for Dr. Einhorn's Research in memory of Herbie Law. Checks can be made payable to The IU Foundation and mailed to IUF, P.O. Box 660245, Indianapolis, IN 46266-0245.
