Hazel Vanzant

Ms. Hazel Vanzant, age 79, of Montezuma, GA passed away, Friday, April 21, 2023 at her residence.

A memorial service will be held at Stillwater Chapel in Ideal, GA at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 29, 2023 with visitation before the service from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Bertha Dozier Memorial Park in Montezuma, GA.

Hazel was born on September 2, 1943 in Montezuma, GA to the late James Vanzant and Doris Raburn Vanzant. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dean Price, brother, Robert Vanzant and a nephew, Jerry Price.

Hazel was a bookkeeper for many years with Clark Tractor Supply in Montezuma and Barrington Dairies in Montezuma. She was a faithful member of Stillwater Chapel.

Hazel is survived by her three nephews, Ernest S. Price, Jr. and wife Jody of Perry, GA, Darryl Price of Kathleen, GA and Bobby Vanzant of Clearwater, FL.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stillwater Chapel, 3550 Highway 240 West, Ideal, GA 31041.
