Harry Milton Godfrey

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 PM, Monday, July 29, 2013 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Mt. Zion-St. Luke Lutheran Church, 401 Randolph Street in Oglethorpe, GA. Pastor Harry E. Tedrow will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion-St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery in Oglethorpe, GA on highway 26 West.
Mr. Godfrey was born in Sycamore, GA to the late Elmer Godfrey and Velma Spradley Godfrey. He owned and operated Godfrey Electronics. He attended Mt. Zion – St. Luke Lutheran Church and his spare time enjoyed woodworking and watching NASCAR.
Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Dale Coogle Godfrey of Oglethorpe, GA; 2 sons, Brian Godfrey and his wife Ami of Macon, GA and Vincent Godfrey and his wife Maranda of Oglethorpe, GA; sister, Carolyn Ducote of Montezuma, GA; 2 brothers, Lonnie Godfrey and his wife Brenda of Cordele, GA and Wallace Godfrey and his wife Betty of Vienna, GA; 2 grandchildren, Valkyrie Godfrey and Alita Godfrey and many nieces, nephews, cousins also survive.
