OGLETHORPE, GA - Gladys Harris Cromer, age 89 of Oglethorpe, GA passed away peacefully, Thursday morning, February 17, 2011 at her residence.

The family received friends from 6 - 8 PM, Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma.

Funeral services were held at 2 PM, Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011 in the Chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Sidney Jones and Chaplain Will Archibald officiating. Burial followed in Little Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Ideal.

Gladys was born on August 16, 1921 in Macon County, GA to the late Lonnie Harris and Della Layfield Harris. She was a homemaker and a member of Little Bethel Baptist Church in Ideal.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Cromer.
